The Open Road [open]

A gigantic man dressed in a white robe appeared through a door made of light. His skin was a dark brown, with swirling patterns of red beneath the surface of what you can make of his face and arms.
On the vestment that hung from his huge shoulders was woven runes that glowed blue on the white material. In his hands was a gigantic sword that was a translucent black, with a hint of ruby on the inside. The hilt was jet black. He raised the sword, still without saying a word,
He swung with stunning force, loping off Katana's head. As the body fell to the ground, the body and sword pulsed with a terrible red light, taking Katana's soul into the sword, where it would be trapped for all eternity.
The man vanished as quickly as he had come, without uttering so much as a phrase for his actions.
Katana was dead.

Katana looked at Ivandis.
"My dad is kind of chasing me down. He's mad because I wouldn't marry his best friend's son as he had promised me to."
Katana went back to eating the food.

Ivandis started to nod and then realized what was said. "Why would it matter? I mean its not like anyones after you..."
*Unless she has been running and ran here looking for a escape when i ran into her and then with the offer of the place to stay she gladly took because she wouldn't have to give her name to someone!*

Katana looked up. She seemed a bit nervous.
"Um...sure. Just if anyone asks my name is Isabella Caryon."
She went back to eating in silence.

Ivandis let a huge grin show and he nodded aprovingly. He was pleased and so began to eat as well he was also surprised that it was good, most of his food turned out burnt and unetable but he hadn't tried this hard to make a meal before either. "So after were done here i figured we should report what we saw in the woods to the towns leader. Its been bothering me all night.

Katana eyed all the food. She was rather hungry since she hadn't eaten too well lately. She took a really big bite of food yet it still managed to look as if she eating very proper like. She swallowed and then smiled at Ivandis.
"It's really good."

He smiled back and pulled out a seat for her. then Ivandis brought over the food... "I hope you like it." the meal consited of rice, soy beans, a tad bit of chicken, a bowl of soup with noodles, and a hot pot of tea. After laying all the food out he took the seat opposite of Katana and waited anxiously for her to try it.

Katana came walking out of the room. She was wearing a pair of silky black shorts and a matching tank top. Her hair was pulled back into a braid and her mid drift was showing. She smiled at Ivandis when she saw him.

The sun came up and Ivandis was up making a breakfast. He smiled as he put the last touches on his favorite meal.

Katana undressed and changed into her pajamas. She slipped into bed and tried to sleep.

"Ok then goodnight..." Ivandis turned and walked out of the room. He walked over and layed out a thin mat to lay on and layed down to go to sleep.

Katana looked at him.
"Not at the moment but thank you again."

Well I guess thats who I am... well its getting late so i think that I'm off to bed. Do you need anything else?

"You're be very nice to me."

Ivandis turned towards the bedroom and opened the door. he found everything as it should be and gestured for Katana to enter. the room was small holding a bed a closet and a single desk. everything was perfectly kept and it looked as if the bed had been made perfectly angular. Ivandis looked at it with pride and bade Katana that what was his was now hers inside the house no matter what it be.

Katana looked at him.
"It wouldn't be very nice of me to take your bedroom."

Ivandis walked throught the city towards his apartment. walking past Mrs. Hasigawa he waved and turned into the building. Walking up to his room he unlocked it and stepped in. it was small but perfectly kept and i could have been mistaken for a vacant room other than the items around the rooms. "You can take your pick bedroom or couch."

Katana followed him out of the room. She stopped at the front counter and turned in her keys. She left the money for the room and then they headed outside.

Ok then, ill take you to my palce and get you settled in. He started walking out the door and looked to see if she was following.

Katana smirked.
"Nope. That's it."

Ivandis finished and turned to Katana to asked if that was it.

Katana zipped her back pack closed and then looked around the room for anything but her clothes that would still need to be packed.

Ivandis grabbed the suitcase and set it down next to the drawers then began moving the cloths into it.

Katana looked at him.
"All the clothes in the drawers need to go into that suitcase."
Katana pointed to a red suitcase and started to put stuff into the back pack on her bed.
